My newest keys to genera of Ephydridae Zatwarnitcki(1997) and Mathis & Zatwarnitcky(1998) both run unequivocally to Philygria. Wolfgang Adaschkiewitz (thanks) convinced me that this can't be because of the (almost, whatsoever) missing dorsocentrals, but it's (at least rather) Hyadina. We both wouldn't categorically exclude another genus...

distance of posteriour npl to suture / distance of anteriour npl to suture = 2.36
Interesting Characters:
two regular and widely spaced rows of acrostichal hairs
a regular row of dorcocentral hairs, with a slightly larger bristle before the scutellum inserted slightily outside of the dc rows
and a small outgrowth at the hind side of the scutellum.
